Continence Recovery After RARP: What Patients Should Expect

How Prostate Cancer Treatment Decisions Are Actually Made

Robot-assisted Radical Prostatectomy (RARP) is a surgery carried out to treat Prostate cancer. During this surgery, the prostate gland, seminal vesicles, and attached seminal vesicles (the ones that make semen), and the pelvic lymph nodes are all removed most accurately, aided by a robot. The patient receives general anesthesia during the procedure, and several small incisions, known as keyhole, are made in the operation, through which robotic arms introduce the instruments and remove the prostate from the body.
