Had a Vasectomy and Vasectomy with Dr. Razdan. Staff was very helpful and great. The robotic Surgery was top notch, little to no down time and recoup as compared to traditional methods. Post op i spent maybe a day on the couch with Tylenol 3 but weened off by day 2 just fine. Walking fine by day 3. Pain was minimal (first 2 days i felt like i got hit in the abs with a bat, but no pain or swelling in groin region). Would recommend to anyone considering either procedure.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 3 years ago by Dr. Razdan with a Gleason score of 7 (aggressive stage cancer). My name is Angel Rodriguez and I am currently 44 years old. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer on September 2018 when I was 43 years of age. Being a nurse by profession, I knew that prostate surgery would give me the best chance at beating this disease. So, I resorted to Google to search for “Top Urology Surgeons in Miami” and Dr. Razdan”s name came at the top of the list. All I can say is that from the moment I came in contact with his office in late September to the day I had my 3 month follow up appointment on 2/14/19, I experienced nothing but true compassionate and professional care. Starting with the girls at the front desk who knew me by name after the first visit, continuing with Georgia who arrange all my pre op testing, insurance approval process, and hospital registration, and ending with Dr. Razdan himself they all make a fantastic team and make you feel welcomed and assured that everything will turn out just fine. Surgery and immediate post op period were completely uneventful, the pathology report after the surgery confirmed that I am cancer free as well as the PSA report 3 month after surgery. I went back to work, full duty, only 16 days after the surgery, achieved full continence of urine 5 weeks after the surgery and I am back to a normal, fully active life, all thanks to God, Dr. Razdan and the group of professionals surrounding him. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the latter part of 2017. After reviewing and interviewing a number of surgeons I ended up selecting Dr. Razdan based on two primary factors. One was the number of surgeries he has completed (a lot!) and second was his use of the amniotic membrane to aid in healing and recovery. I am sure I am no different than any other man when it comes to the concerns regarding the possible after effects of have a prostatectomy. Primarily, continence and potency. Neither of these two concerns effected me after surgery. I was fully continent as soon as the catheter was removed and was able to enjoy a reasonably normal sex life 48 hours after the catheter was removed. I could not be happier with the results. Kudos also need to go to Dr. Razdan’s office team. His office medical staff was extremely attentive to any questions or concerns I may have had and they were more than helpful in many ways. I am a bit lost for words! This Doctor is the finest that I have had the opportunity to solve problems with. He is kind, compassionate, and most important super capable.
